The Junior/Senior Youth Groups Advisor works with volunteer advisors, the Youth Advisory Subcommittee of the RE Committee, and the DRE to organize and oversee the Junior Youth Group. The role of the Office Administrator is one that requires maturity, flexibility, sensitivity, creativity, and a sense of humor. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working alone as well as collaborating with staff and many volunteers. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and has at least 2 years of experience working in a non-profit or church office setting. Attention to detail, compassion in dealing with others, frequent interruptions, and ability to prioritize are all part of the job.
Excellent written and verbal communication are essential, as you will be doing a lot of writing, proofreading, editing and responding to congregants. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required. Experience with Church Windows database (or similar product), graphic editing/desktop publishing tools, Google docs, Facebook page administration are all desired skills. Familiarity with Unitarian Universalism is a big plus.

The Unitarian Universalist Society of Gardner is seeking a Director of Religious Education to serve our small Central Massachusetts Congregation.
